Thank you for your interest in applying for a scholarship for the Erasmus Mundus Master's program in "Education, Migration, and Diversity":
The program will start in October 2026 in Schwäbisch Gmünd and will last for 24 months, with various mobility paths throughout the course of study.
Before you apply:
Please read the entry requirements carefully and check if you are eligible to apply. If you do not meet all of the criteria, please refrain from applying, as the application process is highly competitive.
Please also ensure that you have collected all the necessary documents listed below before starting the application.
We look forward to receiving your application!
Entry Requirements
The program requires a first degree, such as a bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification), in a field related to EDU_MIG, such as social sciences, history, cultural studies, educational sciences, or applied linguistics. A bachelor’s degree in teacher education is also acceptable.
The final grade of your first degree should be at least a C+ (or equivalent), as demonstrated by your certificates.
At EDU_MIG, we value multilingualism. Being able to speak multiple languages is an asset and will be considered when selecting applicants.
Preference will be given to qualified applicants with relevant professional experience in the field, which can be gained through jobs, internships, or voluntary work.
Your most recent degree should have been obtained within the last 5 years. If it is older, please explain why you chose to return to university in your motivation letter.
EDU_MIG qualifies students for a master’s degree. If you already hold a master’s degree, you must convincingly justify why you wish to pursue another master’s degree in your motivation letter.
Interested applicants who have previously benefited from an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) scholarship are not eligible to apply for a second scholarship.
